About the Firm's Principal

Dominic Rossi, President
Mr. Rossi has over 25 years experience in the wealth management industry, having held senior financial/administrative positions in several well-known firms. His knowledge of the front and back office complements an extensive technical background providing a valuable source of assistance to those charged with financial planning and rendering investment advice.

Mr. Rossi has engaged in a few entrepreneurial ventures during the past several years including a computer training and consulting company and as consultant to small advisors and service businesses. His most recent employment was at a wealth manager, Fiduciary Counsel Inc., complementing his knowledge of the industry gaining him extensive experience in servicing high net worth individuals and families.

Startups, Startups Plus, Established businesses undergo a three month trial period

• Update books as needed, return review
• Review all paperwork (vendors, contracts, agreements, etc.)

• Compile Tickler Calendar – general and industry specific
• Organize filing system
• Enroll Bill Pay System
• Statement review
• Revenue/Expense review
• Budget/Cash Flow
• Risk review (insurance coverages, disaster recovery, etc.)
• Business performance review

At the end of the 3 month trial period

          JP Smart Start is selected as Virtual CFO;

• All admin, accounting to JP (automate all procedures where possible)
• Contact Vendors and Clients to refer all inquiries to JP Smart Start
• Obtain limited Power of Attorney for banks, credit card, tax authorities
• Maintain close Client contact, daily, weekly, as needed
• Extension of Client personnel

          or Client retains control

• Train client on record keeping
• Install Go to My PC (virtual control)
• Monthly review of postings, reconcile if necessary
• Special projects as requested (Risk, business, performance reviews, etc.)
